Todd and Laura both grew up in Charleston, SC and went in wildly different directions after high school. After several years apart, they reunited to catch up on everything they had been through over the years; grief, cancer, relationship struggles, career changes and the pandemic, just to name a few. Then Todd said something profound, ‘I would have never known any of this based on your social media, Laura.' It hit both of them that everyone could really benefit from stripping away the façade and talking openly about their struggles in order to come together and heal. We all assume the picture-perfect social media everyone presents is real and it’s important to Laura and Todd that everyone knows that isn’t the case. No one, no matter how rich, famous, or successful, is impervious to trauma.
Our audience is educated, motivated and diverse, as our subject matter is highly focused on self-improvement, inclusion and moving forward in life.
